 NEC
and ipUnplugged have formed an IP alliance. The alliance includes
a three-year OEM agreement, which allows NEC to integrate ipUnplugged's
Roaming Gateway, Roaming Client, and Roaming Server software with
its own hardware, and incorporate them under the NEC CX7500 Series
brand.
Lucent and ipUnplugged are working together to create a joint
wireless offering to enterprises and carriers in the CDMA 2000 market.
The collaboration helps us keep our technical edge and distance
to competition.
UTStarcom and
ipUnplugged have formed a partnership to provide a standards-based
solution for Internet connectivity and secure seamless roaming between
a third-generation (3G) Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) network
and a wireless local area network (WLAN) using the WiFi 802.11 standard.
UTStarcom is able to resell ipUnplugged's products all over the
globe.

Intel has started to look into the Mobile IP arena. ipUnplugged
is on their radar screen and to better communicate their message,
they have produced a video
and a white paper on ipUnplugged's products.

Micro and ipUnplugged has initiated a joint program aimed at
improving Wi-Fi performance for potentially millions of mobile PC
users around the world. The alliance, which includes mutual marketing
and technology support, will offer notebook or PDA users seamless,
transparent, and secure roaming capability across wireless and even
wired networks ? but especially between Wi-Fi ?hot spots? in offices,
businesses, airports, and other public areas and WWAN networks such
as 1xRTT and GPRS.

is a global leader in application serving and portal software. Companies
worldwide use Citrix technologies to integrate applications, content
and business processes into a pervasive digital environment - a
virtual workplace - offering seamless connectivity and a consistent

Interface Specification) to enable smart clients (like the iPass

has been a pushing force. ipUnplugged complies to the WISPr specification
as well.
