SUPPORT
In addition to hardware and software support, ipUnplugged
offers a broad range of service programs to meet customer operational
requirements.
The three core services are: Technical Support via ipUnplugged Technical
Assistance Center (iTAC), ipUnplugged Online Services (iOL), and
ipUnplugged Professional Services (iPro).
iTAC
iTAC’s highly skilled staff provides technical support to
ipUnplugged’s customers. This includes diagnostics of network
anomalies and outages, troubleshooting, problem solving, and answering
operational and configuration questions.
Incoming issues are prioritized and escalated accordingly. Each
case is logged and can be followed by the customer through our Online
Services.

Online Services
Our online Customer Services empowers ipUnplugged customers with
additional means to maximize their investment and improve network
uptime. The easy-to-use, Web-based tool, provides our customers
with valuable information about the products and the available support.
Essential technical information is available including Maintenance
software releases, Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs), Field Alerts,
Technical Notes, and Release Notes. Registered customers can log
in to their own page for dedicated support. From this page, they
can also create new cases or monitor ongoing cases.

Professional Services
Consulting
Our iPro consulting group’s primary function is to assist
our customers in delivering world-class solutions with ipUnplugged’s
products. An example could be in the design phase of a network where
our consultants can assist with expertise and knowledge through
a “Network Design Workshop.” Other specialized customer
services can be arranged on request.
Training
Our educational training courses will help our customers build their
staffs expertise in ipUnplugged’s products, Mobile-VPNs, and
related technologies.
Operations and Maintenance Course (3 days)
This course includes hands-on lab configuration exercises to help
reinforce the concepts of Mobile-VPN over different technologies
and Workgroups. Advanced technologies such as Virtual Private Networks,
Internet Access Control, Mobile IP, IPSec, Radius, Diameter, ISAKMP/IKE,
and Firewalls (IPF) are covered.
Other specialized customer courses can be arranged on request. Courses
can be conducted at ipUnplugged headquarters in Stockholm or at
customer site.
